Who am I?

I've been a creative person since I was very young, imagining made up worlds inside my head when watching things like Ben 10 (a throw back am I right?). At first I was never very good at art, but I enjoyed drawing, it was a way to express myself and I found it therapeutic.

Films were a staple in my house, every Friday night me and my family would settle in front of the TV to spend time together and watch a good film (9/10 it was a Disney film or Harry Potter). Over time I became more interested in the behind the scenes of the films I was watching and started searching for the concept work. I was obsessed with the concept work for Lilo and Stitch (I also maybe a little obsessed with Stitch himself!). This led me wanting to pursue concept work as a career option and that leads me to my degree.

I've learnt a lot over the 2 years. Especially in the 3D department as this was something I hadn't touched since Year 9, with AutoCad, before starting in 2023. Blender, the 3D software we use at uni, has actually become one of my favourite parts of my degree. Who knew this 2D artist would grow to love the 3D work? Definitely not me! Which is where this blog comes in!

This blog is kinda like my brain I guess. All of my thoughts about uni work are put in here for all you lovely people to read! The purpose of this is to help me see how far I've come from where I started. I also hope this blog helps people

inspiration to just create!

Thank you for reading! x
